In line with the national sustainability agenda under Singapore’s Green Plan 2030, our school has embarked on the Ecostewardship Programme. To kickstart the programme, our staff gamely took on the challenge of Xingnan EcoBingo! As part of Public Service Bring Your Own Campaign (P.S. BYO) to promote sustainable living, we are encouraged to do our part by engaging in eco-friendly actions such as refusing straws or using reusable straws, bringing our own containers for takeaways and visiting a packaging-free store! Everyone had fun completing the tasks on the bingo card while demonstrating their chosen acts of sustainability. This paves the way for staff to be role models of sustainability and empower pupils to play their part for the environment and strengthen our green efforts! Beyond this campaign, we hope for all Xingnanians - staff, pupils and stakeholders - to come together to play our part. Let us go green together!
